Murphy might not be the smartest IT professional in the world, but he knows what he’s doing, has all the right certifications and always does his best to have a plan and follow through with it.
Once upon a time, Murphy’s mother told him: If you fail to plan, then you plan to fail.
That wisdom has always stuck with him.
His father also had a saying that haunts Murphy as well:
Anything that can go wrong, will go wrong—at the worst possible moment.
Throughout Murphy’s life, it seems like no matter how much he does right, he is plagued by events beyond his control. A cascade of unfortunate and unforeseen catastrophes seem to follow him like a permanent rain cloud.
Now, he’s done with school, has the certifications he needs to be an IT leader, and has his first job as an IT Director after working for a few years in support roles. It’s now Murphy’s job to foresee all possible problems and do everything in his power to stop them.
The man who is the epitome of bad luck now has to gain the necessary foresight needed to prevent not only the same problems all of his counterparts deal with, but also the issues that seem to ONLY happen to him.
In a chaotic, unpredictable and ever-changing world, a man with a streak of bad luck that can only be described as legendary must find a way to prevail against all possible setbacks.
