Steve retired from the Air Force in 2000 after a 20 year career working in all faucets of telecommunications. Specifically he worked as a maintainer, installer, designer, and evaluator for secure and unsecure voice and data networks that spanned the globe. As a network evaluator he wrote the original test procedures for digital echo cancelers. His final position in the military allowed him to tie all his skills acquired in the military together and develop complete solutions for Joint Tasks Forces which allowed him to take component forces requirements and design, test, deploy, and train on the architecture to support Joint Task Forces around the globe.
After retiring in 2000 he worked for various telecom companies in Texas where he worked as a Consultant, Trainer, and Senior Systems Engineer. He supported fortune 100 companies as a Trainer teaching and developing Cisco boot camps, MPLS seminars, Technical Sales Classes, Telecom Technology, and Outbound Sales, as a Consultant installed DWDM, SONET Rings, Provisioned STS’s, Installed/Configured routers, Installed/Configured ATM Switches, Installed/Configured DSLAM’s, and Installed/Configured Frame Relay devices, as a Senior Systems Engineer he designed, implemented, and supported solutions for Network Monitoring, Infrastructure Virtualization, SIP, MGCP, H.323, DSL, FR, ATM, PL, SONET, Ethernet, MPLS, VPLS, Satellite, Mobile Wireless, and Fixed Wireless
